Terms Of Service

By downloading, installing, or using our “TaskCore” mobile application, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using the app.

1. Definitions

• App: Refers to TaskCore, including all its features and functionalities.
• User: Any person who downloads, installs, or uses the app (owners/ supervisors self-registration allowed).

2. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not modify, adapt, sublicense, or distribute the app without our written permission.

3. User Responsibilities

• You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the app.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
• You agree not to use the app for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.

4. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the app, including its design, features, functionalities, content, trademarks, logos, domain names, software code, data, and databases, are and shall remain the exclusive property of Avenir IT (Pvt) Ltd. These materials are protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws.

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of any part of the app or its content.
• Reproduce, distribute, license, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the app or its content.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the app.
• Use any automated system (e.g., robots or web crawlers) to access the app for any purpose.

Any unauthorized use of intellectual property will result in the termination of your rights to use the app and may result in legal action.

Avenir IT (Pvt) Ltd reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.

6. Third-Party Integrations

The app may include integrations with third-party services (e.g., Google Maps - Google Places API, Keycloak - Auth system & user management) to enhance functionality. We are not responsible for the terms, privacy practices, or performance of these third-party services. By using the app, you agree to comply with their terms.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Avenir IT (Pvt) Ltd from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the app, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

7. Data Usage and Analytics

We may collect and use your data to monitor and improve the app's performance and user experience. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold TaskCore harmless from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from unauthorized use, access, or security breaches of the app. This includes any modifications, alterations, or unauthorized integrations that lead to system failures or third-party claims, including intellectual property violations. Additionally, both TaskCore and the user agree to indemnify each other for any losses arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct.

• 8.1 Force Majeure

  TaskCore shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, cyberattacks, wars, governmental regulations, or significant system failures.

• 8.2 Limitation of Liability

  TaskCore will not be responsible for any loss of business, revenue, or data resulting from service downtime, system failures, or third-party service disruptions. TaskCore is also not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages that may arise from the use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to errors caused by external integrations or unforeseen technical issues.

• 8.3 Governing Law

  This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka jurisdiction. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through discussions before pursuing legal action.

• 8.4 Liability Exclusion

  While TaskCore strives to provide uninterrupted service, it does not guarantee that the app will always be free from errors, delays, or disruptions. TaskCore is not responsible for any business or operational losses resulting from system issues, cyber incidents, or failures caused by third-party services. Regardless of prior awareness of potential risks, TaskCore shall not be held liable for any indirect or consequential damages that may arise.

9. Disclaimers

• The app provides "as is" and "as available". We guarantee that the app will always be secure, error-free, and meet your requirements.
• You acknowledge that the use of this app may be subject to interruptions, errors, or failures, including those beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify the app or its services at any time with prior notice.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, with prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including breach of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be effective upon posting, and we will notify you of any material changes via the app or by other means. Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
